Banshee


Banshee is an American drama television series set in a small town in Pennsylvania Amish country and features an enigmatic ex-con posing as a murdered sheriff who imposes his own brand of justice while also cooking up plans that serve his own interests.

1: Pilot - Aired: 2013-01-11

A recently paroled master thief assumes the identity of Lucas Hood, sheriff-in-waiting of Banshee, Pa. Keeping his history a secret, Lucas befriends boxer-turned-bartender Sugar Bates, and settles into his new life as Banshee’s sheriff. Lucas inadvertently gets tangled up in the rampant corruption of shunned Amish gangster Kai Proctor, while keeping a vigilant eye out for Mr. Rabbit, the New York mob boss who wants revenge against Lucas and former partner and lover Carrie for the jewel heist that landed Lucas in prison.

2: The Rave - Aired: 2013-01-18

Proctor’s desperate underling Hanson decides to hold a rave in an Amish barn, selling homemade E pills stolen from Proctor to Banshee youth including Deva, Carrie’s rebellious daughter. Catching wind of the plan, Lucas and his team orchestrate a raid, but the effects of a tainted batch of pills send many revelers into convulsions, with one notable fatality.

3: Meet the New Boss - Aired: 2013-01-25

A mixed martial arts title bout is being planned at the local Kinaho Moon Casino, run by tribe leader Benjamin Longshadow and his son Alex. Huge profits are anticipated for Banshee investors, but the enterprise is threatened when the champion angers Lucas.

4: Half Deaf is Better Than All Dead - Aired: 2013-02-01

A botched museum heist in Harrisburg has unintended consequences, as Lucas, Carrie and Job renew their partnership, at least for the moment. Later, after coercing redneck henchman Arno to offer up incriminating evidence, Lucas and Emmett arrest Proctor for Hanson’s murder, but are detoured on the way to the jail. Sugar looks for a cut; Kendall gets roughed up; Lucas and Carrie love the ones they’re with.

5: The Kindred - Aired: 2013-02-08

A band of marauding bikers crashes the annual Banshee Spirit Festival, with deadly consequences, sparking Lucas and Siobhan to meter out vigilante justice. Burned after losing his key witness against Proctor, Lucas is further dismayed when FBI agent Xavier arrives to monitor the situation. Rebecca Bowman, torn between passion and her Amish roots, finds a kindred spirit in the sheriff.

6: Wicks - Aired: 2013-02-15

Wicks, an ex-con from Lucas’ past, passes through Banshee, triggering memories about the Albino, a brutal insider enlisted by Rabbit to make Lucas’ prison life a living hell. Proctor turns to extortion when a reverend refuses to sell his home to make room for a casino hotel.

7: Behold a Pale Rider - Aired: 2013-02-22

Lucas’ cover is threatened when Carrie decides to give him over to Rabbit in an effort to protect herself and her family. Meanwhile, a drugstore robbery turns into a full-blown hostage crisis at the high school, with Deva and Mayor Kendall’s wife Janie among those whose lives are imperiled.

8: We Shall Live Forever - Aired: 2013-03-01

Carrie urges Lucas to let go of the past, even as an increasingly suspicious Gordon is hell-bent on uncovering hers. Cast out of her Amish home, Rebecca turns to Proctor to give her a new start in Banshee. A surprise visit from Rabbit’s lieutenant, Olek, a.k.a. Widow’s Peak, brings back a flood of memories for Carrie. As his family keeps vigil for the ailing Benjamin Longshadow, Alex gets a surprise visit from his sister Nola.

9: Always the Cowboy - Aired: 2013-03-08

As Rabbit closes in on Carrie and Lucas, Carrie flees the hospital in a desperate attempt to collect her family and get them out of town. Kai introduces Rebecca to the business world, and sends Lucas a message about fooling around with his niece. Alex Longshadow recruits a Proctor thug with gambling issues to deal with a work-stoppage problem at the casino.

10: A Mixture of Madness - Aired: 2013-03-15

Recalling a series of prison therapy sessions that fueled his hatred of Rabbit, and pressed by Xavier’s insistence that the FBI handle a kidnapping case, Lucas makes a decision that will change the collective fate of Carrie, her family, Sugar, Job, and the entire Banshee police force. A special delivery at Alex’s doorstep leads Nola to reconsider her future; Kai teaches Rebecca the power of telecommunications.

1: Little Fish - Aired: 2014-01-10

In the aftermath of their bloody shootout with Rabbit, Lucas, Carrie and the Banshee Sheriff's Department (BSD) are interrogated by FBI special agent Jim Racine, who metes out punishment that may, or may not, fit the crimes. Meanwhile, Proctor sets his sights on persuading Rebecca to return to his care. As Gordon stews over his wife's betrayal, Deva shows off her resourcefulness after being caught shoplifting in a mall. Later, a straightforward armored-truck robbery turns into a dangerous high-speed chase involving a mysterious motorcycle pursuer.

2: The Thunder Man - Aired: 2014-01-17

Spurned by Deva and Gordon, Carrie is forced to take up a new residence. With his leadership abilities questioned by rival George Hunter and the tribal council, Alex ramps up his efforts to recover the money stolen in the casino heist. Siobhan relives a nightmare when her ex-husband, Breece Connors, shows up looking to reconnect. Lucas is asked to return Proctor's favor.

3: The Warrior Class - Aired: 2014-01-24

A shocking murder near an Amish farm fractures relations between the Kinaho tribe and the Amish, who are forced to rely on Proctor to fend off a vengeful mob. Investigating the crime on Kinaho turf, Lucas and his deputies find themselves confronted by uncooperative gang members and their imposing leader, Chayton Littlestone. Meanwhile, Carrie welcomes an unexpected visitor, while Lucas deals with the sudden appearance of a most unwelcome one.

4: Bloodlines - Aired: 2014-01-31

Following a lead from Brock, Lucas visits a strict Amish schoolteacher who might have insights into the murder of Kinaho tribe member Lana Cleary and the disappearance of Solomon Bowman. Emmett and Siobhan find transferring a captive Chayton more difficult than expected. Rebecca copes with the pain of her parents' rejection. Proctor offers Alex a peace offering, and Nola delivers a final blow for justice.

5: The Truth About Unicorns - Aired: 2014-02-07

Lucas considers moving on after he and Carrie take a detour on their drive back to Banshee. Agent Racine recalls the botched case against Rabbit that has haunted him for years.

6: Armies of One - Aired: 2014-02-14

When Jason’s past catches up to him, Lucas decides to make a deal to save the boy’s life, and maybe his own. In the absence of Carrie, Gordon and Deva’s lives spin out of control. Proctor teaches Rebecca a hard lesson in allegiance.

7: Ways to Bury a Man - Aired: 2014-02-21

In an effort to bring down Proctor, an enraged Lucas looks for trees to shake. After rattling the regulars and strippers at the Savoy, Lucas and his deputies rough up Sharp, a junkyard skinhead, for info on Proctor’s ecstasy operation. A family crisis brings Carrie, Deva and Gordon together; Alex (Anthony Ruivivar) faces a vote of no-confidence at the tribal council; Job shows off his explosive side.

8: Evil For Evil - Aired: 2014-02-28

An illegal search warrant helps Lucas bust Proctor, at a cost. Sharp and his skinheads look for payback against Emmett, testing the limits of the deputy’s patience. Carrie provides the cash for Max’s treatments and takes a small step towards thawing out her relationship with Gordon and Deva. Job finally gets a lead on Rabbit.

While in New York, Job visits a priest with ties to Rabbit; Carrie's relationship with Gordon faces a new test following another revelation.

Nola returns to Banshee. Proctor's mother ails from a disease. Carrie must choose between the heist and her relationship with Colonel Douglas Stowe.

3: A Fixer of Sorts - Aired: 2015-01-23

Nola and Burton have a bloody confrontation. Tommy defies Chayton's orders and attacks Proctor's club. Hood's secret is threatened when a FBI agent shows up at his door, as someone close to him discovers the truth.

4: Real Life Is the Nightmare - Aired: 2015-01-30

Carrie quits her job at the diner. Deva steals from a video game store. After Siobhan's discovery, Lucas decides to kill Proctor before leaving Banshee for good, with unforeseen consequences.

5: Tribal - Aired: 2015-02-06

Cadi becomes a war zone when Chayton and the Red Bones attack the station with Hood, Brock, Proctor, Siobhan and the others trapped inside.

6: We Were All Someone Else Yesterday - Aired: 2015-02-13

Hood copes with Siobhan's death. The FBI takes over in the hunt for Chayton. A wedge is driven between Proctor and Rebecca.

Despite Job’s reservations, Lucas and his team pull off a daring heist at Camp Genoa. Lucas and Chayton are haunted by their recent deadly encounter. Calling a truce, Gordon and Carrie attempt an unusual intervention with Deva. Unbeknownst to her uncle, Rebecca heads to Philly to work out a deal with a spurned Proctor client.

8: All the Wisdom I Got Left - Aired: 2015-02-27

Lucas and Brock head to Louisiana and the infamous Underground fight club in search of Chayton. Stowe pieces together details about the Camp Genoa heist, and who might be responsible. Burton’s torment turns to resolve. Sugar looks to repay an old boxing debt. Rebecca’s initiatives put Proctor and Emily in harm’s way.

9: Even God Doesn't Know What to Make of You - Aired: 2015-03-06

Lucas recalls the history of his friendship with Job, while pondering the future – if there indeed will be one. Proctor and Emily pay the price for Rebecca’s recklessness. Carrie and Gordon pick up the pieces of their shattered relationship. Stowe and Leo land a big fish. Bunker reconnects with his skinhead past. Deva gets a lesson about crime and punishment.

Lucas recalls a furtive chapter in his life and a fan of Job's work offers him special treatment. Later, Lucas is surprised when Gordon joins him for final negotiations with Stowe in Genoa, and Proctor and Rebecca pick up a new ally as they depart for Philadelphia to settle a score.

5: A Little Late to Grow a Pair - Aired: 2016-04-29

Calvin is tested by Watts' mercenary partnership with Proctor, whose promise to the Colombians has taken a severe hit after the torching of his factory. Following separate leads in the serial-killer case, Dawson and Lucas converge in a members-only Goth club replete with painful SM initiation rites. Proctor, through Burton, sends a forceful message to his Amish kin. Brock vows justice in a televised press conference. Cruz scopes out Carrie's fortress while Sugar helps a displaced Lucas find familiar lodgings.

6: Only One Way a Dogfight Ends - Aired: 2016-05-06

With help from Lucas, Dawson narrows her search for Declan Bode, a Satanist “person of interest” in Banshee’s serial murders. An emboldened Calvin throws down a gauntlet to Proctor and Kurt. Carrie’s recent vigilantism ends up putting both her and Deva in peril.

7: Truths Other Than the Ones You Tell Yourself - Aired: 2016-05-13

Fearing for Dawson’s safety, Lucas and Brock ramp up their efforts to hunt down Bode. With the Brotherhood poised to go to war with Proctor, Kurt looks to keep Maggie safe while Calvin takes out his frustrations at the office. Job settles a score with Leo Fitzpatrick, a Camp Genoa adversary.

8: Requiem - Aired: 2016-05-20

Resolved to leave Banshee, Lucas learns that the murder case he thought was finally closed may in fact be opening again. After a tense faceoff with Calvin and the Brotherhood, Proctor looks to finalize his deal with the Colombians. Carrie takes aim at one final act of vengeance. Brock demands allegiance from Bunker as Banshee braces for an uncertain future.
