American Ninja Warrior


Follow competitors as they tackle a series of challenging obstacle courses in both city qualifying and city finals rounds across the country. Those that successfully complete the finals course in their designated region move on to the national finals round in Las Vegas, where they face a stunning four-stage course modeled after the famed Mt. Midoriyama course in Japan. The winner will take home a grand prize of $1 million.

Five of the top competitors from "American Ninja Warrior" go head-to-head against competitors from Japan and Europe in a high-stakes competition on the show's famed four-stage finals course. (180 minutes) Representing Team USA are competitors Brian Arnold, Elet Hall, Paul Kasemir, Joe Moravsky and Travis Rosen. All of these worthy athletes are veterans of "American Ninja Warrior" and have made it to the show's Las Vegas finals in past seasons. Team Japan will include a formidable collection of both seasoned and up-and-coming athletes: Kazuma Asa, Hitoshi Kanno, Ryo Matachi, Shingo Yamamoto and Yusuke Morimoto. Yamamoto has competed in every season of Japan's "Sasuke." Team Europe will be represented by Stefano Ghisolfi, Vadym Kuvakin, Sean McColl, Tim Shieff and Miska Sutela. Ghisolfi and McColl are both champion rock climbers, and McColl won the rock climbing World Cup in 2012. Kuvakin is a former Olympian for the Ukraine in gymnastics and is a current member of the Cirque du Soleil cast for "Le Reve" in Las Vegas. Shieff, a successful competitor on several seasons of "American Ninja Warrior," is a world champion free runner.

After a history-making 7th season, “American Ninja Warrior” celebrates with its first-ever All-Star special edition. Hosts Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbajabiamila have each selected their own teams comprised of 5 competitors, including one rookie and one female competitor. The teams will go head-to-head for bragging rights and the championship trophy. The show features 5 “supersized” skills and obstacles competitions: a giant peg board, a 40-foot Salmon Ladder, the Flying Shelf Grab, Jump Hang, and the “Mega Wall.”

ANW celebrates the 8th season with the second All-Star special. The team competition now is a relay race, and features Team Kristine, with Flip Rodriguez, Jessie Graff, and Nicholas Coolridge. The qualifying rounds continue with a very special all-military cast competing on the pier in San Pedro, California in front of the historic battleship USS Iowa. Competitors, including both active duty and retired military members, will tackle the six stage city qualifying course featuring two never-before-seen obstacles – the Log Runner and the challenging I-Beam Cross. Former Army National Guard Caption and six-time Ninja veteran Ryan Stratis and active Navy Lieutenant Junior Grade Dustin McKinney return for another shot at the course.
